Keep customers updated from order to doorstep

From the moment an order ships to the knock on the door, a customer wants to know where their parcel is. Keep them updated at every step by SMS and WhatsApp, rescue the deliveries that go wrong, and cut the where-is-my-order tickets that flood support.

Updates at every step

The sequence is the value: shipped with a tracking link, out for delivery this morning, delivered with a thank-you, plus a heads-up if there's a delay. Each message is transactional, so it reaches the customer at any hour, and a customer who can see where their parcel is doesn't open a support ticket to ask.

The doorstep is where messaging saves money. An out-for-delivery alert with a window lets a customer be home; a delivery OTP confirms the parcel reached the right person; and when a delivery fails, a quick call or message to the customer — rather than a silent return-to-origin — rescues the order and the shipping cost spent on it.

WhatsApp carries the tracking map, the courier's name, and a reschedule button inline, which an SMS can only link to. For high-value or COD parcels, that richer thread reduces both failed deliveries and the anxious calls that come with them.

It all runs off your order and logistics systems, on registered transactional templates, so updates fire automatically as a parcel moves. We set the templates and triggers up so the first shipment is covered end to end.

Frequently asked

Which delivery updates should I send?

At minimum: shipped with a tracking link, out for delivery, and delivered. Add a delay heads-up when something slips, and an out-for-delivery window so the customer can be home. Each is transactional, reaches the customer any hour, and cuts the where-is-my-order tickets that otherwise hit support.

How does this reduce failed deliveries?

An out-for-delivery alert lets the customer be available, a delivery OTP confirms the right recipient, and an NDR follow-up — a call or message when a delivery fails — reaches the customer before the parcel silently returns to origin. For COD especially, that rescue saves the shipping cost already spent.

Why use WhatsApp as well as SMS?

SMS reaches everyone and is read fast, so it's the dependable default. WhatsApp adds the tracking map, the courier's name, and a reschedule button inline, which an SMS can only link to. For high-value or COD parcels, the richer thread reduces failed deliveries and anxious calls.

How is it priced?

Per message for SMS, per conversation for WhatsApp, and per connected call for voice, with GST shown separately. Delivery updates are transactional and triggered by real shipments, so the volume tracks your orders. The saving usually comes from fewer support tickets and fewer failed deliveries, which more than offset the per-message cost. See the pricing page to model it.
