Messaging infrastructure, built in India since 2006
SMSAPI is how Chandnas IT Consultants — a Jaipur software company founded in 2006 — reaches every kind of customer: developers who want an API, and business teams who want campaigns that run themselves. One platform, two faces, with a long history behind both.

Where we come from
Chandnas IT Consultants has built messaging tools from Jaipur since 2006. Two brands grew out of that work. Priority SMS served businesses that needed bulk SMS, WhatsApp, and voice campaigns without writing code. SMSAPI.in served developers who wanted a clean API for SMS and OTP. Same network, same team, same standards — they just spoke to different people.
SMSAPI brings them together. The developer API and the managed campaigns now sit on one platform, under one brand, so a company can start with an API and add campaigns later, or run campaigns today and integrate when it's ready, without changing providers. If you were a Priority SMS customer, you're an SMSAPI customer — nothing you rely on goes away.
SMSAPI is the continuation of Priority SMS, by Chandnas IT Consultants. Both names serve the same customers, products, and team; the brand is simply catching up with how the business already works.
What we do
We move messages — transactional SMS and OTPs, promotional campaigns, WhatsApp and RCS, voice broadcasts, IVR and the numbers behind them — to phones across India. For developers, that's an HTTP API with real quickstarts and delivery webhooks. For business teams, it's campaigns we set up and you run, with the DLT registration and sender approvals handled.
Indian messaging is regulated, and we treat that as part of the product rather than a form to fill in later. TRAI rules, DLT registration, sender headers, NDNC, and consent are built into how every message goes out, so compliant traffic reaches customers and non-compliant traffic is stopped before it costs you anything.
The customers are as varied as the channels: a fintech wiring OTPs into its app, a hospital chain reminding patients across cities, a state department reaching citizens in several languages, a D2C brand recovering carts. They need different things from the same infrastructure, which is exactly what a single platform — a developer API on one side, managed campaigns on the other — is built to do.
How we work
We'd rather show a code sample, a real delivery receipt, or a clearly broken-out price than a page of superlatives. The Indian market is full of vendors promising the world; we'd sooner tell you what a message costs with GST shown, name the regulation that applies, and let the product speak.
Reach is the other half of it. A message has to land with customers across languages, on basic phones, in towns and villages — not just the connected, English-reading part of the market. Unicode SMS, regional-language voice, and channels that need no app are how we cover the whole country, not a slice of it.
And we stay. The team that built Priority SMS from 2006 is the team behind SMSAPI now — support in Indian time zones, people who know the DLT process because they have run it thousands of times, and a roadmap shaped by what customers in this market actually ask for rather than what reads well on a slide. That continuity is the quiet reason customers stay for years.
Who stands behind it
Chandnas IT Consultants is led by its founder, Manoj Kumar Chandna, and works as a registered telemarketer — the traffic we send runs through a verified PE-TM chain on the DLT platform, not through a reseller in between you and the operator. For a business that has to answer to a regulator, that direct line matters.
Messages reach phones through the operators and DLT platforms we connect to directly — Tata Teleservices, Jio, Airtel, Vodafone Idea and BSNL, with DLT registration handled on SmartPing and VILPower. Routing across several operators is how traffic stays deliverable when any one route is congested or under maintenance.
Over 3,500 businesses have sent through this network — universities and schools, hospitals, government departments, coaching institutes, lenders and brokers. You can read who we work with and what they say in their own words.
